Terms of use
These terms are a draft written for Zavva Holdings, LLC. They are not legal advice and should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before you rely on them or take payment from the public. Last drafted 28 October 2026.
Who operates the service
ApplyHonest is operated by Zavva Holdings, LLC, 515 North Flagler Drive, Suite 350, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. Contact zavvaadmin@zavvaholdings.com. “We” means that company. “You” means the person using the site.
What the service is
The service compares text from a resume with text from a job posting and shows where a sentence in the resume overlaps a requirement. A paid tailoring reorders or, when a model is enabled, paraphrases that text under an automated check meant to reject new tools, employers, and numbers. The check can miss things and can also flag a fair paraphrase. You must read the result before you send it to anyone.
What we do not promise
We do not promise interviews, offers, callbacks, a particular applicant-tracking result, or that a parser will accept the file. “ATS-friendly” in our export means a single column without tables or text boxes, which many parsers handle more reliably. It is not a guarantee. We do not promise that every gap in a posting will be detected, or that every supported row means you are qualified. Qualification is the employer’s judgment.
Accounts
The evidence table can be used without an account. Tailoring credits are tied to an email. You sign in with a one-time link. You are responsible for that inbox. Do not share the match link; it can contain your resume text. The public count card is separate and omits the resume.
Credits and payment
A tailoring credit is spent when a tailored resume is first saved for a match. Downloading it again does not spend another credit. Evidence checks do not spend credits. Packs currently offered are 5 tailorings for US$9 and 20 tailorings for US$24, each a one-time purchase. There is no subscription in this version, so a pack does not renew.
When checkout is enabled, Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and processes the payment. Their buyer terms apply to the payment. We do not store card numbers. Credits are added when we receive a paid webhook for a configured product, usually matched to the account id we sent or, if that account is gone, to the email on the order. A return redirect from checkout is not itself proof of payment. If a refund webhook arrives, we reduce unused credits, not below zero. Credits already spent are not restored by a refund of the file. Ask Lemon Squeezy about refunds of money. Deleting your account deletes unused credits and does not by itself refund a charge.
Your content
You keep the rights to your resume. You give us a limited permission to process it to provide the service, including sending it to an AI provider if you have configured the deployment to use one. You confirm the resume is yours or you have the right to submit it, and that you will not upload someone else’s resume without authority. Do not upload information you are not allowed to share, such as another person’s secrets or export-controlled material.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse the free check with automated scraping, attempt to break into the service, or use the output to misrepresent credentials you do not have. The guard is a help, not a license to send a false application. You are responsible for the document you submit to an employer.
Retention
Uploaded files are parsed and the bytes are not kept. Extracted text is stored so you can reopen or tailor the match, then deleted on a schedule that defaults to 30 days, or sooner if you delete the match or the account. See the privacy draft for detail.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided as available. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. A lawyer should set any cap on liability before these terms are relied on. As a placeholder for that review: liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the credits at issue in the three months before the claim. This placeholder does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited. Some places do not allow these limits; in those places the limit applies only as far as the law allows.
Governing law
Placeholder, for counsel to confirm: these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, excluding conflict-of-law rules, and the state or federal courts located in Florida are the venue. Consumers may have mandatory rights in their home country that this sentence cannot waive.
Changes
We may update the service and these terms. The date at the top will change. If you keep using the service after an update, you are accepting the updated draft only to the extent a lawyer confirms that is sufficient in your situation. For a material change to paid credits, the honest version of this clause should say how notice is given. That mechanism is for counsel to specify.
