Marketing manager requirements, with the quote you would need
Marketing postings bundle brand, demand, and content. Pick the channel you actually ran. A personal social account is not a brand program unless the resume describes the work that way.
Examples on this page are fictional composites, not customers and not testimonials.
Often required
Channel ownership
Email, paid search, events, site, or lifecycle. One is enough if it is real.
Who the work was for
A segment or a product, named by you.
A collaborator
Design, sales, or an agency, if present.
A measurement you used
Traffic, pipeline, or attendance. Use the figure you wrote, including its limits.
A tool only if it appears
GA4, a MAP, or an ads account. Do not add the posting’s stack.
Often preferred, and easy to fake
- A budget you managed
- An experiment
- A page or campaign you can describe
What a citation looks like
Lifecycle email
“Wrote the onboarding email series and watched activation at day seven with the data analyst.”
Channel and a partner are clear. A lift percentage is not stated, so none is added.
Paid social
“No sentence.”
Organic posts are not paid. Mark it unsupported.
The gap people paper over
ROAS, CAC, and “10x growth” are copied from ads. If your resume does not contain them, the tailored letter must not either.
Questions
I did a bit of everything at a small company.
List the channels you can describe in a sentence each. “Full stack marketer” is not a quote.
Can I use the company’s public traffic numbers?
Not as your personal result. Public company metrics are not your resume.
