Warehouse supervisor requirements, with the quote you would need
Warehouse postings care about safety, accuracy, and a shift. Numbers for picks per hour are often made up. Quote the building, the crew size if you wrote it, and the task: receiving, pick, pack, or inventory.
Examples on this page are fictional composites, not customers and not testimonials.
Often required
The operation
Receiving, shipping, returns, or a whole building.
Shift and crew, as written
Do not inflate headcount.
A safety or accuracy habit
A huddle, a count, or an incident process you ran.
Equipment only if you used or directed it
Forklift certification is not implied.
A system
A WMS by name, RF scanners, or paper, truthfully.
Often preferred, and easy to fake
- Hiring for the shift
- A peak season you staffed
- A carrier or inventory problem you fixed
What a citation looks like
Shift leadership
“Led the 6 a.m. outbound shift of nine pickers and covered the dock when the lead was out.”
Time, count, and duty are quoted. A Six Sigma project is not.
WMS administration
“No sentence.”
Scanning in a WMS is not administering one. Mark administration unsupported.
The gap people paper over
OSHA incidents, shrinkage percentages, and forklift licenses need to be real. Silence is better than a borrowed statistic.
Questions
I was a picker who trained new hires.
Quote the training. Supervision of the shift is a separate, possibly unsupported, requirement.
Can I claim any WMS?
Name the one you used, or say you used scanners without naming a product you do not remember. Do not guess the brand.
